SAMPLING

I have continued my engineering research with drawing and the use of acetate to produce outlines and negative space from my drawing and photography. I began sampling in vinyl (my substitute for leather) and stud detailing which I created using split pins.  I have developed this strapping layered element with stud detail from the linear architectural design from the engineering of bridges and other structures.
